Senior Product Manager (Employer Experience)


Tapcheck is a digital platform offering an easy way to access on-demand earnings early. Available at no cost to employers, our app-based on-demand pay solution helps relieve the financial stress that many employees experience on a daily basis. 


The Tapcheck team is passionate about our mission to improve financial wellness and boost business productivity. By giving workers the ability to transfer wages they’ve earned directly to their bank account or pay card without waiting for payday, Tapcheck eliminates the need for high-interest payday loans or employer-funded cash advances.   


We are looking to grow our team with a Senior Product Manager that will own Tapcheck’s Employer Experience initiatives. Tapcheck is a B2B2C company that has thousands of employers using our product. We are now at a place where we are hitting scale and are looking to enhance the experience employers have from onboarding a 50 person startup to optimizing the experience for a 5000 person enterprise with entities throughout the US. We are looking for subject matter experts with product skills that are passionate, dedicated, ambitious, and share our mission to empower workforces with financial independence. 

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Own Tapcheck’s employer experience product vertical. This touches external employer tools, internal onboarding processes and working with Tapcheck’s partners to build APIs to automate.  
  • Understand our employer’s use cases deeply and empathize, transform that into your vision 
  • Communicate the status of initiatives and metrics across the organization 
  • Partner closely with Sales, account managers, implementations and engineering to create optimal processes and tools.  
  • Create product requirements, make a business case, iterate on feedback 


  • Experience closely collaborating with engineers, designers, and partners  
  • 5+ years product management experience, building and shipping high-quality products 
  • A customer-centric mindset, a designer to understand and learn everything about our customers 
  • Passion for financial products and improving people’s financial lives 
  • Not required but ideally experience in one of the following verticals 
    • Earned wage access 
    • Payroll systems 
    • Timeclock systems 
    • API platforms
